At Magic Steps Nursery we offer a range of activities that play an important part in helping children to develop and learn practical life skills. We regularly visit local facilities such as shops, parks and farms, where possible. We also employ external agencies, teachers and qualified professionals, to coordinate activities which help to progress the children’s development.
We believe all children in our care should have the same learning opportunities, and we are pleased to incorporate all our activities as part of our curriculum. They are included in our monthly fees, so there is no extra charge to you.
We have a number of activities on offer, listed below, including special classes for babies. All activities are subject to change at our discretion; we may rotate the classes throughout the year to give children variety, and ensure a well-rounded approach.
1. Take a large portion of state of the art music technology and mix with a talented Hartbeeps teacher
2. Pour over plenty of BIG FUN songs, beautiful sensory music and top with some magic sprinkles
3. Add some larger than life drama, over-sized gestures, fabulous facial expressions and mix it up round and round…
4. You can never have enough compassion and understanding so pile on dollops and dollops, it’s very healthy, so don’t hold back
5. Add oodles of enthusiasm from the little people that take part in sessions and this will make the sound journey truly irresistible!!!
6. Whilst the mixture marinades, take some time to observe and listen to these clever little folk; we can learn so much and maybe discover some new things about ourselves too

Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre
Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre offers classes for our children in a friendly, nurturing environment.
Classes are offered in Jazz, RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap.
HTDC is a friendly, supportive school aiming to fulfil each and every student’s potential. Classes are taught specifically to combine fun, challenge, discipline and instil confidence in our dancers.
Talented ex-HTDC pupils have progressed to full-time vocational schools and colleges and then into the theatre.
We have recently had ex-pupils dancing in Matthew Bourne’s “Swan Lake”, “The Snowman”, “Shrek The Musical” and several pantomimes, and some now teaching as far afield as Japan and Australia.
Dance classes can improve health, fitness, posture, confidence, coordination and commitment.
At HTDC our main aim is to pass on our love of dance and theatre to all of our pupils!
As the currency of the school yard, there’s little doubt that football has a lot to offer the next generation of fleet-footed playground participants.
At Little Kickers the focus is very much on fun – a national network of informal yet professionally run training classes where enthusiastic boys & girls are given a helping hand to stand on their own two feet.
Of course we believe that a head start in sport is a fantastic investment in the future and naturally we’d be as pleased as punch if any of our former pupils go on to greater glories in the golden game.
However Little Kickers is not a guaranteed passport to football fame!
The real goal of Little Kickers, is to use football as a fun forum to instil our growing squad with a little extra confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie; which we feel will stand them in very good stead for the future.
Research has highlighted the benefits of learning languages from an early age and that learning a foreign language is much easier BEFORE the age of six or seven. Learning a foreign language is fun, revolving around games, songs and rhymes, without any pressure. The more fun it is, the more children will acquire without realising. Early language learning can reinforce literacy skills and nurture enthusiasm. Language development is at its most rapid at this age group. Young children learn a second language in the same way they learn English, they listen and then they copy.
